As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own supplies and equipment. The good news is that as a self-employed individual, your supplies, cleaning products, and equipment are all tax-deductible business expenses.
A valid driver’s license and vehicle is preferred since clients are spread across residential areas. However, some contractors in denser cities like Toronto and Mississauga use public transit — you can indicate your transportation method in the application.
Contractors are paid biweekly. Tips from clients come to you directly — we never touch them. Your earnings are tracked through our platform so you always know where you stand.
Yes — a background check less than one year old is required. If you don’t have one yet, that’s okay. You can apply now and get one before your first job. We can point you to the fastest local options.
Some professional cleaning experience is preferred, but we’ve onboarded great contractors with less than a year of experience. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Absolutely. You select your preferred cities in your application and we match you with clients in those areas. You can update your coverage area at any time.
You work as an independent contractor — you’re your own boss. You control your schedule, accept or decline jobs, and file your own taxes. We provide the client pipeline, platform, and support.
